We are a web development and printing firm. We were originally a traditional printing firm and we moved into web development a few years ago. The thing is, obviously, in the space we’re in everything kind of changed over the past 12 months; the amount of issues, with WordPress, with security.

Technical Expertise

John Phillips was brought into the team at Wisecarver to assist in accomplishing a successful endeavor. He has worked extensively on behalf of Wisecarver Communications over the past year and a half, and he adds more than a decade of combined experience derived from companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Motorola to the Wisecarver roster. He has also been charged with the task of assuring that their web development services work at a comprehensive level. After utilizing multiple security companies and products, John has affirmed a strategy he feels confident about.

We have server side security in there-but we know it’s not the greatest. We know it’s not perfect, but at least it supports the day to day-the amateur hacks.

Currently...we host about- 40 or 50 websites. And, what we’re doing at the moment is rotating some of them in and out of our Sucuri account. It was down to me to find the prime-time solutions for our clients more than anything. What my job is with [Sucuri’s] software and why it's so useful to us, is you protect the host side for us...If we have one site on [one of our static] IP addresses that gets compromised, obviously that IP address suddenly becomes blacklist marked. So, we know that we need you guys to clean that out for us.
