When the Shoe Drops

Security issues were never really a big deal. I would sometimes get around to updating the plugins-here and there. But, I never thought much about it until I got hacked and then thought, ‘Uh-oh. What do I do?’

I am starting to talk them into the Sucuri firewall also, because with the other items alone it isn’t enough as it becomes increasingly difficult to manage compromises and potential compromises without help.

Though previously unaware, Sheri quickly learned her need for website security. This newfound awareness further translated to her entire book of business as she began understanding the widespread need for an overall better security posture. I am indebted to Sucuri because once your site is banned at Google, you’re done. So, I talk to people all the time and let them know-’You can have me help you or not, but you need to get with this company if nothing else and sign yourself up. Or, get the security plugin or do something. It’s not enough to just have a site-you are going to be hacked. It’s nerve racking to have sites constantly hacked and never know when it’s going to be ‘that one’. And, now, it’s ransomware and everything else.
